FAQ: Songwriting and the Internet

Q. What about collaborations?

A. The Internet allows you to find out who's doing what across the world by searching out and then visiting websites. This means that your collaborations can be global, creating limitless new opportunities. Again, the Internet offers an alternative to mailing CDs by post. Firstly, you can use e-mail to communicate, send lyrics etc. Secondly, you can upload song files (MP3, midi files etc) to your site and make them available only to your collaborators. They can then download them, hear them and contact you with comments. They could create a new version and then upload that for you to hear, if you wish.
