Live/Life gives wannabe photographers who fancy themselves as the next Mick Rock or Pennie Smith the chance to win a VIP pass to photograph the BBC Electric Proms festival this October. The pass provides one lucky winner with access to the photographers' pit and a once in a lifetime opportunity to document the festival. Their work will then go on line at the official BBC Electric Proms website at bbc.co.uk/electricproms
BBC Electric Proms at The Roundhouse, Camden, will be a celebration of new and innovative musical styles. It will feature unique live performances from some of the biggest artists performing today as well as appearances from emerging talent too. There is a huge range of activities taking place at BBC Electric Proms including headline performances on the main stage each night, upcoming artists and acoustic sets. There will also be daytime film screenings, masterclasses and other musical and visual installations.
Budding snappers who want to take part in Live/Life can enter by submitting their favourite photo that shows a visual representation of the theme Live/Life at bbc.co.uk/electricproms. The shot should be inspirational - it could show friends having a big night out at a club, your DIY home music studio, a crazy weekend at a music festival, late night rehearsals with your band in your garage, or live shots from your favourite gig or show.
