The goal of the longer courses is to take passionate and talented individuals and equip them with the performance and theoretical skills that can be applied in a real world situation and allow them to enter and find success in the music industry. Shorter courses are aimed at hobbyists who just want to improve their techniques. Either way, students will leave the college feeling empowered and more confident than ever before.
Master classes take place regularly and the list reads like a who's who of the music industry: Chuck Rainey (Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong), David Williams (Michael Jackson, Madonna), John Petrucci, Albert Lee, Jennifer Batten and Paul Turner (Annie Lennox) have recently given students the benefit of their experience and helped to enrich their overall experience.
Now with this new expansion and many new courses offered for all four instruments, The Institute just keeps getting better and better. With the launch of The Drum Institute and The Vocal Institute, their very generous partners have stepped in to part-subsidise the full-time diploma course.
