Madonna Confides - The Confessions Tour – Special Edition CD/DVD
The original seven London dates sold out in 24-hours, causing an eighth to be added for August 16th - Madonna's birthday. This repeated the success of her two previous world tours: the highly acclaimed 2001 Drowned World tour, which featured eight sold out nights at Earls Court, and 2004's Re-Invention tour, which boasted four shows at Wembley Arena and three at Earl's Court.
Confessions On A Dance Floor' is undoubtedly one of the most successful and highly praised albums of the last year, with UK sales surpassing 1,500,000 and 8 million internationally. With total international sales reaching 200 million, Madonna has spent almost 2,000 combined weeks on the UK charts. Her accumulated UK Top 10 entries are more than The Beatles and The Rolling Stones combined.
