New Order Singles Competition

New Order released their simply entitled 'The Singles' on October 3rd. A double CD, it's 31 tracks cover their entire career to date including the new single 'Waiting for the Sirens' Call'.

The day before John Peel Day, New Order performed at a special tribute gig devoted to the much respected and loved DJ - the man who enjoyed music and shared that enjoyment with millions of fans. John Peel discovered New Order when they were Joy Division.

:: NEW ORDER SINGLES COMPETITION ::

I LIKE MUSIC has 3 copies of the New Order Singles Album to giveaway.

To be in with a chance of winning, please send your answer to the following question, along with your name, age, e-mail and postal address to us using the competition entry link below.

Q: What was the name of New Order before they became New Order?

THE FIRST New Order single was a cover version of Ceremony, a Joy Division song. Since then they've pretty much stuck to their own material. And of course, they were Joy Division, a fact which sometimes seemed a bit shocking when you were watching them in a video with Keith Allen and John Barnes, or appearing with some Frenchmen jumping up and down in fat suits. It's a bit of a journey from Ceremony to World In Motion, from dark, beery clubs at the end of punk to soundtracking Gallic art ballet.
