The Official World's Number One DJ for three years running -Tiësto, is to perform In Concert this summer at the Carling Academy, Brixton, and I Like Music has tickets to give away. In Search Of Sunrise 5

No small feat for most DJ's, however there's something different about Tiësto. This is a man who sold out a solo stadium event for over 25,000 people then played live in front of billions of people during the Parade of the Athletes at the official opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. So the Carling Academy gig on June 16th is one not to be missed as the world's No 1 DJ performs his first mammoth UK gig this year.

Tiësto's gigs are something of a wonder with no expense spared on production, expect incredible laser shows, amazing visuals and video projections plus the best sound system in the world as the Funktion One system gets installed into the Brixton Academy for this event.

Though known primarily for his pioneering contributions to the trance scene, Tiësto's style is now a mix of everything trance, house, techno - the best of all that the dance world has to offer. In his own words:
