After touring the UK last July with fellow Americans Self Against City, Dubuc realized he needed to focus his efforts on the UK. Thanks to the Internet and notably MySpace, The Secret Handshake amassed enough fans to sell out the London Barfly and perform in front of an adoring crowd with no release or previous touring history.

Signed to Tripe Crown Records in the United States, Dubuc has already gained recognition off the back of his debut album, One Full Year. Having received rave reviews from the likes of Alternative Press, Chord Magazine, Outburn and Shut up on the other side of the pond, the UK's very own Kerrang! Magazine followed suit last year, featuring Dubuc and rightly dubbing him 'crossover rock kid mixes beeps with beats'. Now gearing up to release his debut album here in the UK, Dubuc is thrilled to finally have a chance to show the UK what he's made of, having spent the last few years religiously touring the States. Gamegirl is a captivating electro-pop track set to introduce The Secret Handshake's brilliant sonic venture to our shores. And it's only the beginning.
