Think back to that first defining year in your life when you started to make the important decisions that helped shape who you are today.

Year Dot is a groundbreaking project from Channel 4 that will give an extraordinary insight into that journey. It will follow a group of fifteen young people as they go through what they hope will be their life-changing year and, from 30th June 2008, Channel 4 will be with them every step of the way.

To celebrate the project launch and beginning of the year, I Like Music are holding a competition for users to nominate the song, which you feel most defines a period in your life. Winners get 4x day tickets to this year's O2 Wireless Festival on Saturday 5th July 2008. Closing date is midday 25th June 2008.

Does the song 'Dancing Shoes' by The Arctic Monkeys make you think of a holiday spent abroad? Track nominations can range in any genre - you just need to submit 100 words explaining why this track is so special to you. The most interesting and original submission will win 4 day tickets to Wireless plus their top song choice and 100 words will be published on the Year Dot official site and MySpace Year Dot profile.
