It's a blessing!!The Royal Albert Hall presents the first gig of the next hush series, which will take place in the brand new and transformed Elgar Room on Thursday 22 October 2009. hush has partnered with Music Week's UNEARTHED brand for the first event in the new series to bring punters some of the hottest up and coming UK talent around. The hotly tipped Alan Pownall will be headlining along with support from up and coming talent Jonathan Jeremiah, nineteen-year-old singer songwriter and pianist Jose Vanders.

On Wednesday 14 October the Royal Albert Hall will unveil the brand new Elgar Room and this will be the first hush gig to be held in the venue since its transformation. The room itself is steeped in history, having seen actors such as Dame Judi Dench and Sir Laurence Olivier perform.
The hush series, launched in February 2008, supports up and coming 'just signed' artists. Previous gigs have included performances from some of the best breakthrough acts in Britain such as Slow Club, Cocknbullkid, Pete and the Pirates and Little Boots plus many more and this next series of gigs will be no exception.
