With a top 40 chart placing in the bag for their last single Blue Jeans and fresh from a sell out tour of the US, Ladytron are back with a blistering new single EVIL, released in June.
Yet again making technology sexy, Ladytron's EVIL will whip you into a dream you didn't know you wanted. A new recording of the live favourite co-produced by *Ewan Pearson, proves once more that electronica really can be soulful when it's done with this much verve.
Variously described as "Sugarbabes on Smack…sublime, subtle subversive stuff" (UNCUT) and "Pure pop magic" (JOCKEY SLUT), Evil packs a punch live-wise too prompting Ms Helen Marnie "to grab the mic like the baddest bitch from St Trinians" (NME). Evil is taken from Ladytron's latest album Light & Magic - Muzik magazine's "electro-pop album of the year" - and has been remixed by some of the hottest names around right now.
Mixes come courtesy of *Tony Senghore (the man responsible for two of Miami's most talked about 12s this year), the feel good, must be bad disco of *M-Factor and a full length cracker from *Ewan Pearson.
By huge popular demand, the raucous encore that has closed sets all across the UK, America and the already legendary show at last month's Coachella festival, a new studio version of Tweet's OOPS (OH MY…) Is an extra bonus track.
