"I've heard this band described as a Black Radiohead, but I think that doesn't really do them much justice. Beautiful, almost barbershop style, vocal harmonies, great songs and a totally original style. You have to hunt down their album and the acapella version of the Pixies 'Mr Grieves' too."

"Love the way this track just keeps building and its ends up just pumping along in a groove that could almost be mistaken for one of Evil Nine's club records or mine. It's just got that vibe. A kina rolling prog rock wig out."

Beta Band- It's not too beautiful
"These guys never did themselves any favours by totally dismissing their own records in the press before they were even released, but I think they made some great tracks. I've done a bit of double copy re-editing on it for this mix chopping out Hitchcock's 'psyco' esque sections so it works more in tune with the mood I tried to set."
