ADAM FREELAND - Back To Mine

El-P- Constellation Recall
"I got turned onto NYC's Def Jux label through the works of Aesop rock, Edan and RjD2. All great artists. But El-P's "Collecting the Kid" album is my most played Def Jux moment so far. Wicked melancholic sountracky beats. Hip-hop as it should rightly be, not the cliché that we mostly associate with 'Hip Hop' today. This female vocal song is very lo-fi, it sounds like it could all fall apart any minute, but just sets a mood that really works at that moment on the mix."

PJ- Harvey - Slow Drug.
"I've been a big fan of PJ since I toured with her on the Big Day Out tour a few years ago. Her presence on stage just had my jaw on the ground. I've since bought every record she has ever made. 'Slow Drug' is something quite out of character for her, its got an electronic production edge. The whole vibe is so druggy; it's that perfect 'off your head on the sofa watching the walls melt as its getting light' moment."
