Basshunter - Now You're Gone

The European smash-hit sensation, number 1 in 8 countries; 'Boten Anna' is finally here and set to take the UK by storm!

Re-worked with an English vocal version 'Now You're Gone' is the debut from the UK's hottest new label Hard2Beat Records, set to become a major music force over the forthcoming months, released January 7, 2008.

DJ and Cyber Geek Jonas Altberg, aka Basshunter, wrote the European hit in his bedroom. The track, about his love for a girl he met on the internet, captured the hearts of Sweden and it went on to become an instant online phenomenon. It smashed its way to the top of the charts across Scandinavia and within weeks he had become their biggest debut selling artist ever!

With meteoric momentum Basshunter exploded internationally, going onto secure the number 1 spot in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg. The track also caught on in Germany where it successfully stayed at the top end of the charts for six months! Cascada and Eric Prydz, are the only other dance artists this year to reach top ten status in Germany.

Fast-forward to the summer of 2007 and after becoming the biggest selling ringtone by any artist in Europe this year an English bootleg vocal version appears as the lead track on a mix cd by DJ Alex. 'Now You're Gone' became the most requested record in summer holiday resorts around Europe and as people return from their holiday's in Magaluff and surrounding islands desperate to hear it again TV channels in the UK have been inundated with requests for the video.
