DJ Tiësto - Dance4Life

With World AIDS Day on December 1st, the HIV and AIDS crisis remains one of the most pressing matters concerning global youth.

In Canada, world renowned DJ Tiësto set in motion a course of events over the week kicking off with World AIDS Day, the release of the Limited Edition Charity CD "Dance4Life" on Tuesday December 5th, and a concert for thousands in Toronto at The Docks Entertainment Complex on Saturday December 9th.

Ever since it was first established, the charity Dance4Life has put itself at the forefront of the worldwide struggle against HIV and AIDS.

Specifically targeting its message to young people, the charity has shown that uniting youth in dance is a healthy and effective approach to spreading both awareness and hope. DJ Tiësto was appointed worldwide ambassador for the charity in May 2006 and quickly set to the task of crafting an anthem that would reach as many young people around the world as possible. The result was "Dance4Life", a powerful call to arms to "Start Dancing, Stop AIDS, Dance4Life!" Tiësto enlisted the talents of famed vocalists Maxi Jazz from Faithless and premiered the song at the 16th International AIDS Conference in Toronto in a globally televised performance.
