Deadmau5 chats to ilikemusic
Deadmau5: I did that in early October. I'll tell you a very funny story about the track. I was talking online with Max Graham at the time and I had just finished the track and we were just introducing each other and saying hello and I was finishing the final render of the track. I converted it quickly as an mp3 and I gave it to Max as Deadmau5 4 or whatever and he's like 'what are you gunna name it? I really dig this' and I was thinking, oh I have this really brilliant idea, I'm going to give it the lamest name ever cos I thought it was a good track, it was really strong and it had something going for it and I thought, cos I'm an idiot, I thought it would be funny to give it the lamest name ever - like 'Da Bomb' or 'Da Extreme mix' just give it this totally cracked out 90's name and I was gunna go ahead and do it but Max said to me hang on I've gotta go fax Berlin, cos he had to go play there or something, and I was just like 'Oh dude, that's totally it' - I don't know if he knows that or not....haha!
