The Dum Edges project presents a compilation CD of new French producers tipped for great things in 2009. Edges - A New French Electronic Generation not only explores the French dance scene, it uncovers the promising producers who are shaping the backbone of new wave electronica on dance floors around the world. The compilation features an eclectic mix of tracks from up and coming producers such as Breakbot, Spitzer and StereoHeroes.
These 16 exclusive or rare tracks offer a panorama of this extremely free, vital, eclectic scene. Be it Anoraak's romantic 80s' electro-pop, Discodeine's quirky mental house or Chateau Marmont's cosmic, retro-futuristic universe, they all took their cue from the first French Touch: musical open-mindedness, hedonism and innovation.
