Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.

With more nostalgia and dancefloor gems than you can shake a glitterball at, it's the return of the brilliant Back To Love. Coming off the back of their most successful compilation to date, Hed Kandi step forward with a new look for a new era!
Previous editions of Back To Love focussed on the proto-acid grooves that dominated '88-'91 and dance music's early years. Now to go with the new livery, Team Kandi have moved the emphasis on to '92-'96, the truly golden age of club culture, when four to the floor funk's reach moved outside the clubs and into the pop charts and beyond.
Concentrating on the prevailing House sounds of the era, Hed Kandi have assembled a classic snap-shot of a time whose appeal still endures. Legendary floor fillers, immediately familiar to all, rub shoulders with rare and classic cuts that shaped the sound of a generation. Kicking off the first CD with Barbara Tucker's 'Beautiful People', 'Back To Love' rides the piano grooves of the time taking in Fire Island's eponymous belter, through DeLacy's sublime 'Hideaway' and on into the Buckethead's ubiquitous 'The Bomb'. CD 2 keeps it rolling with timeless cuts from Mr Fingers, N-Joi and X-press 2, finishing up with the awesome Perfecto mix of Grace's. 'Not Over Yet'
