Hed Kandi: Kandi Lounge

Swedish duo Studio make an appearance with their spacious mid-paced 'Life's A Beach' as the bouncing Electro bass of Ananda Project's 'Where The Music Takes You' heralds a series of heavenly cuts from some deeply cool producers. Dorfmeister (of Kruder & Dorfmeister infamy) goes head to head with MDLA for a coruscating moment of italo stabs and Balearic guitars that is 'Boogie No More'. Minimal king John Dahlback steps up with the synth-laden misty excursion 'Wonder', which is followed by Miguel Migs' wah-wah powered 'Let Me Be'.

The slick descending riffs of Restless Soul featuring Shea Soul's 'Tricks' gives way to Yoruba founder Osunlade's percussive driven 'April', which wraps up Kandi Lounge's inaugural outing.

With 2008 looking set to be their busiest to date Hed Kandi have already set the bar at record height with the welcome addition of Kandi Lounge.
