James Zabiela and Nic Fanciulli first struck up a friendship during gigs in Asia in 2005. Their mutual understanding of each other's music coupled with the fact they had fun and got into all sorts of mischief together made them inseparable. Throughout 2006 the pair experimented playing back2back, including New Year's Day in Nic's hometown of Maidstone, the sunnier climes of Miami's WMC at Cafeteria and We Love… Space, Ibiza. All received rave reviews (no pun intended) and it was proof indeed JZ and Nic needed to take this idea further - and so 'One+One' is born.
