Moby's next single One Time We Lived will be released digitally on 16th November 2009 and the package includes remixes from Matrix & Futurebound, HiJack, Moguai, Kap Bambino, Sharooz, Laurent Wolf, The Glimmers, and Lulu Rouge. To coincide with the release, Moby has shot a low-fi performance video with his band in NYC, continuing the DIY theme of the Wait For Me campaign. There will also be an animated video featuring The Little Idiot and his animated band! In the run up to the single release, starting on 14th October, Moby will be giving away one remix per week to his fans as a free. See the official website for more details.
Moby is currently touring the US, but in November he returns to Europe for another string of live dates. The live show, which sees Moby on guitar, piano, percussion, and occasionally singing lead, already made waves in the UK back in June when Moby performed as part of Ornette Coleman's Meltdown Festival at the Royal Festival Hall. The UK's Evening Standard called Moby's a "virtuoso performance" and gave the event a 4-star review. In another 4-star live review, The Guardian UK called the performance "highly entertaining" and "as much a gig for the mind as for the feet."
