It makes me laugh and it makes my cry and it gets me out of a stress if I’m in a stress, and, if I’m in a good place then it will make me in a better place. It’s all about the emotion, it’s all about the feeling where music takes you to and what affect it has on you.

  • Sam, Get Cape Wear Cape FlySam, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly: ilikemusic because... Music is a special thing that is not like anything else in the world. You might argue that you can translate emotions through films and through books but anyone can make music, whether that be humming or singing along to the radio, it’s something that gives enjoyment and positivity to many people.
  • Peter CincottiPeter Cincotti: ilikemusic because... Of what the world would be without it. It’d be a very scary place. I think we’d all be screwed.

Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

Now fiercely independent, Robyn is standing out as one of the few current pop stars who're releasing commercial pop music in a distinctly un-commercial fashion. But being involved in every aspect of her career hasn't deterred her from making what is quintessentially a classic pop album. You'll find the sad-eyed-Robyn on the heartbreaking 'Be Mine!', the super-strong-battery-Robyn on last single 'Konichiwa Bitches' and the nuclear-powered-pop-Robyn on the Knife produced 'Who's That Girl.'

'With Every Heartbeat' is backed by remix package, which includes a rare appearance from Pete Tong. Further mixes come courtesy of Steve Angello, Kenson, Hugg and Pepp, Punks Jump Up, and it also contains a remix from collaborator Kleerup himself.

After a string of packed out London shows (at yOyO, Hoxton Bar & Grill, Metro & Cargo) Robyn returned to the UK to play London Dingwalls and Wireless Festival in June. She is confirmed for Bestival 7th -9th September.
