Super Mal featuring Luciana - Bigger Than Big

'Bigger Than Big' is Luciana's priority record before her first solo single on new label Island Records, which is due for release in September with an album following later in the autumn. So expect her to be a household name by the end of 2007. WATCH VIDEO

She started out in the band Shooter, who had a US hit with 'Life's A Bitch' after appearing on Dawsons Creek. Returning from the US, Luciana formed Portobella with Nick Clow and Michael Gray who released two critically acclaimed singles, 'Covered in Punk' and 'Viva La Difference', as part of the MTV series 'Breaking Point' in 2004.

Alongside her own music projects, Luciana and her songwriting-partner Nick Clow have been penning hits for other artists such as Martijn Ten Velden's "I Wish You Would" (All Around The World) and Mark Knight's "Party Animal" (Ministry), which are both being released this summer and their company Blah Blah Music is also working on toplines for chart-topping acts such as Kylie and the Sugababes.

A life long love affair with photography led Luciana to start 'Shooter' a photo/styling partnership with David Burgoyne. So far they've been commissioned by Michael Gray, Shena, Bodyrox and Koolwah amongst others. She has also been creating artwork and posters for record companies, and in 2004 Luciana held her first art exhibition 'Iconic' which featured images of some of the last centuries biggest stars.

And with hits as big as this, we think it's about time we make room for one more.
