Supperclub - Jealousy

Supperclub Jealousy' is the fourth album in United Recordings nine sins series, and once again has been curated and illustrated by a hand-picked pairing of creatives - this time with art by Krijn van Noordwijk and music selected and mixed by Alan Luna. The album surprises, yet still gives that distinct, warm sound that Supperclub and the nine sins series have become renowned for.

And who better to understand and represent the Supperclub sound than the Amsterdam club's Musical Director Alan Luna. He brings us an eclectic selection of über-funky tracks from the likes of Fink, Mark Murphy, The Black Dog, Dakar, Henrik Schwarz and DJ Vadim, jumping between genres to create a raw, almost live feel.

Meanwhile Dutch photographer Krijn van Noordwijk takes care of the artwork for the second time, having provided visuals for the inaugural installment of the series - Addiction. Reactions to the artwork were so overwhelming that Supperclub decided to ask him again and Krijn didn't disappoint, side-stepping the typically glamorous approach and producing a more idiosyncratic shot of Dutch fashion model Jayneen channeling genuine jealousy.

Across the series Supperclub explores nine modern sins through music and art, inviting international DJs and up-and-coming artists to create a double album and a work of art, each with a different sin as its theme. Presented as collectable boxsets, each instalment also gives fans the chance to purchase one of ten limited edition artwork prints of each album.
