Timo Maas Chats To I Like Music

ILM: You've just started your own record label Rockets & Ponies, how is it all going? What are you plans for it in the future?

TM: More outstanding releases for sure…I'm planning the "package" at the moment. A combination of stylish records and a clothes label in the "perfect case scenario."

ILM: Is there anything that not a lot of people know about you that you wish they did?

TM: I don't care what people know about me or not. Most importantly my friends know me and my secrets. And trust me, my "secret weapons" are very enjoyable :)

ILM: What has been the hardest issue that you have had to overcome in this industry?

TM: Too many. I'm releasing records since 1994. I been very successful, very high and also very low. Going through everything that's possible or even not. I come from the very low end of the community. I'm not scared of fighting for my ideas and rights. The industry has changed, so I did also. I see it as a challenge. As long as my "fire burns" I will overcome every hard issue.
