Stepping into the shoes of Faithless is no easy task, but Renaissance had little hesitation inviting the esteemed, galactic ambassador of dance, Tom Middleton to compile and mix the latest instalment of 3D.

Over the years Tom has cut a respected musical swathe under a host of pseudonyms such as Global Communication, Cosmos and The Modwheel, not to mention his own righteous moniker. As a DJ he has toured the world; held a much-coveted residency at Manumission; produce landmark Essential Mixes and, of course, establish himself as one of the worlds most exciting compilation artists via diverse series such as Crazy Covers, The Trip and now legendary Sounds Of The Cosmos.

All in all, the perfect candidate to take up the 3D reigns.

"I love the 3D concept", says Tom, "The club, studio and home discs provide me with the perfect platform to showcase my musical diversity. Infact, I think this is the closest thing I've ever done to my 'Cosmos' compilation. I'm frequently asked if I'd ever follow that up and I guess this is finally it! I am certainly very happy with the end result."
