Vadim Zhukov is one of the leading Russian edm producers, with countless classy releases on labels like Captivating, Armada and Black Hole. I Was, I Am, his latest release, consists of two totally different tunes, but one wicked package of modern edm.
I Was I Am is a neat, melodic and distinctly Russian sounding trance record with Vadims signature production values stamped all over it. The Jahawi remix however slows the pace down in a smooth balearic fashion, turning the track into a proper deep trance journey. Wake Up on the other hand fuses tech and progressive house sounds into a dark and twisted club record.
