In Yousef’s words, track by track break down of ‘Yousef - Friends’

A Collaboration of Beats…

In Yousef's words - A track by track break down of 'Yousef- Friends'

Yousef and Nic Fanciulli - 'I'm no Good'
I was thinking of a way to round up the musical content of the project, as at that point I only wanted one more track in it. I wanted something quite banging, with a techno edge. I thought Nic's influence would be a great addition to the album so I called him up and asked if he fancied a few days in Liverpool. I'm really happy with the result. It's been killing everywhere I've played it.

Yousef and Alex Wolfendon feat Miriam - 'Contradiction C'
I asked Alex to be on this project as he is not only my best matebut also a great producer, an undiscovered talent. I wanted to do something influenced by jazz. In fact I had "rose rouge" in mind. The track came out a lot better than I had hoped for. I started hearing vocal hooks in my mind so I wrote some. I then invited Miriam to the top floor and she added the final ingredient.
