  • Sarah ChristineSarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!

· Steve Smart's 'Floor Filler' (4/12/04)

'Winter' is here! Released on the 21st of February DT8 Project's latest offering can only be described as a truly epic dance anthem. Brought to us by Darren Tate who is currently one of the brightest stars in UK dance music and featuring vocals from 'voice of the moment' Andrea Britton, it's soaring melody and dramatic arrangement make it certain to be one of the stand out tracks of 2005.

Darren Tate is one of the UK's premier dance music producers earning his reputation over the last 5 years with a string of releases under the various guises of Jurgen Vries, Angelic, Orion, Citizen Cained and of course DT8 Project. Working with the cream of the UK music scene from Judge Jules & Charlotte Church to Ultra Nate & Bush, his own productions, remixes and writing credits extend across the spectrum of dance music and beyond. Current collaborator Andrea Britton who guested on Jurgen Vries release 'Take My Hand' again provides an inspirational vocal which aides to produce the vast haunting sound of 'Winter'.

Already garnering strong support at Radio 1 in the form of a hat trick of specialist plays from Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce it's clear that 'Winter' has all the credentials to make it a genuine cross over hit. Specialists on the Galaxy, EMAP, Capital & GWR network's have also been throwing their weight behind the track giving it fantastic exposure across the length and breadth of the country.

Later in 2005 will see the release of the debut album from DT8 Project, this much anticipated album features the 2004 global summer smash 'The Sun Is Shining (Down On Me)' featuring the vocal talents of Rob Li, as well as more from the brilliantly enchanting voice of Andrea Britton.

Released by Data records on the 21st of February 2005 'Winter' is poised to continue the resurgence of top quality dance music in the UK!
