The Brooklyn-based musical threesome consisting of Reverend McFly, Telli “Bathroomsexxx” Gramz and DJ Teenwolf, formed in 2007. They began recording together, dropped “Ninjasonik: The Mix #1” featuring their demos mixed with a bunch of other artists, toured with punk bands and MCs and began sampling the likes of Matt and Kim and Team Robespierre. Having recently supported Mos Def, Ninjasonik now release their debut album, Art School Girls.
The album is released on New York indie label Green Owl. Run for artists, by artists, they currently represent a small collection of experimental musicians and bands.
Though Ninjasonik take a rather eclectic approach to their music making (with MC Telli breaking it down: "I don't think a sound has been merged like what we do. I'm a rapper, Jah's a punk, and Teenwolf's a musicologist.”) we like their DIY approach, so.....check out Ninjasonik and make sure you head across to Green Owl www.greenowl.com
