Here at ilikemusic.com, we like driving in our cars. Needless to say, music is an en-route must. Music is a key ingredient within our driving experience, and thus requires sufficient thought and consideration. That's why we decided to discover what the stars of the music world like to listen to while driving. Even better if you can plug in to the music you've downloaded. We spoke to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Steve from Athlete, James from The Coral, Charlotte Hatherley and Superstar DJ Pete Tong (among many others) about driving in their cars and what they like to listen to when driving. What makes their driving playlist?
From Snow Patrol's aptly titled, Chasing Cars to Johnny Cash and Beck, the music you choose and the car you drive are a reflection of your personality, so what music do you like to listen to while you drive?
"It's been different really over the years. I remember things that have been in my car that just didn't leave, Johnny Cash's Hurt album and the Rubin album didn't leave my car for the whole of the Ibiza Season," says Pete Tong.
