  • MARSMARS: ilikemusic because... tom kelly is a great producer and Mark Angelo Studios in London is the best place to record your record!
  • Cesar SangwaCesar Sangwa: ilikemusic because... it's there for me through thick and thin, highs and lows. I think about it when I wake up, and when I close my eyes to sleep. I like music because I'm in love with it!
  • Sarah ChristineSarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!
  • Chris, OrsonChris, Orson: ilikemusic because... Well, is there anything else? Music is the perfect thing, it makes you feel good, it makes you feel sad, it makes you feel happy, what else is there?
  • steven bancesteven bance: ilikemusic becaucse... it produses feelings of utopia.
  • O'BaileyO'Bailey: ilikemusic because... I can live vicariously through a song, whether it's a screaming angry rock anthem or a silly kids song ("I'm a little yellow fish" anyone?) haha!

Is Free The Future?

Is music becoming disposable?
Tablo the South Korean GFC member (and member of South Korea's premier hip hop band Epik High) agreed that providing stuff to fans for free was not an issue it's more about engaging with fans across everything. Tablo and his group started giving away some tunes and merchandise for free but this has meant that their overall sales on their website have risen even though their CD sales have fallen. So he maintains that you can give things away for free and still make a profit. Tablo is worried about the disposable nature of modern music. "One of the things I wonder is whether it's good that the whole free model makes a lot people listen to more of your music but I'm wondering if it devalues, like it becomes disposable, because you can get it so easily nowadays," explains Tablo.
