Make Trade Fair Live Press Conference

Because millions of factory workers in poor countries are forced to work long hours, in appalling conditions. There are hundreds more reasons, find out more at www.maketradefair.com

:: Three ways to support MAKE TRADE FAIR ::
1. Sign up to The Big Noise
2. Download your favourite tracks from BigNoiseMusic.com
3. Always check the label - buy Fair Trade (tea, coffee, chocolate and fruit)

Remember, campaigning and taking action does work and you really can make a difference. For instance, last week saw a World Trade Organisation panel rule that EU sugar dumping in poor countries is illegal. Following on from an earlier WTO verdict against US cotton subsidies, we're seeing unfair agricultural subsidies topple one by one, and a fairer chance for poor farmers to make a living.

Let's hope the pressure we can all put on the WTO will continue to make trade fair, and we can turn
promises into action.page << 1 2 3 4 >>
