Nike+ Human Race
Nike have announced that Kanye West, Kelly Rowland and Moby are among the top acts that will perform live around the world at the Nike+ Human Race on 31 August 2008. The world's largest running music event will see up to one million runners from 25 cities across the globe competing in a 10k race on the same day, with an exclusive music concert held in each city. Runners taking part can raise funds to support three official global charitable partners: WWF, The UN refugee agency's ninemillion.org campaign and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
The London leg of the Nike+ Human Race will be held at Wembley Stadium, where 30,000 runners, captained by Paula Radcliffe, will make up the GB team. They will be treated to a live concert pre race from bestselling DJ and singer-songwriter, Moby. Band of the moment Pendulum, along with Detroit born DJ, Carl Craig, will also join the Wembley line-up. Other top artists confirmed to play at the Nike+ Human Race globally include R&B singer Kelly Rowland in Paris, dance-electro-pop duo The Pinker Tones in Madrid, and the Fantastic Four in Munich
