Released by Universal, the 36-track collection features two unreleased tracks (Memory & Desire and a new interpretation of Kiss Me With Your Mouth) and comes with an expanded lyric book with musings from Stephen on each track.
Details of both a companion film (filmed over 6 years by Canadian documentarian Douglas Arrowsmith) & book (both also titled Memory & Desire) are also set to be announced.
A prolific and much feted British songwriter, Stephen Duffy's musical career began in his native Birmingham in the late 1970s where he fertilised the embryonic Duran Duran, with John Taylor & Nick Rhodes.
Some early songs from 1978 / 79 were recorded by Duffy and Rhodes and released on the Dark Circles album in 2002 (under the guise of The Devils) - Aztec Moon from these sessions is featured on Memory & Desire.
Following a brief spell as part of a band called Obviously Five Believers, Duffy formed Tin Tin in 1982 - they recorded 3 singles for WEA/Sire before a deal with Virgin / 10 saw him begin releasing records as Stephen 'Tin Tin' Duffy.
