Stereo MCs - Double Bubble

Without doubt one the factors which infuses and invigorates the sound of Double Bubble's is the production of local beat-meister Tic Toc. As one of the UK's most instantly recognisable and iconic bands, Stereo MCs hometown of Brixton has always held an affinity them which, someway or another, infuses it's way into all of their records. This time round a chance meeting in a local Brixton pub between Rob and 19 year old Tic-Toc led to a burgeoning friendship and a prolifically creative musical collaboration that has informed Double Bubble's fresh and vital approach and given Rob and Nick a whole new perspective to their music.

With the live band firing on all cylinders across Europe road testing the new material, the summer schedule ahead is jammed with festival appearances including a Speakeasy stage headline slot at Bestival, Stereo MCs are in the form of their lives. Fully deserving of their position as the respected tailsmen and statesmen of the dance music scene, Stereo MCs will always eschew the easy option and continue to feed the fire in their bellies, side stepping convention and making music that resonates with their surroundings.
