Gooooood Mornin'/afternoon/evenin' likers of music!

You may have noticed that the site looks a little different today and you wouldn't be wrong! This week ilikemusic has been taken over by the legends that are the Stereo MCs! And as a result, here I am, your humble editor, lying with my laptop by a poolside in Malibu listening to the greatest hits of PJ Harvey ...ha! I wish! Though we have the boys, Rob and Nick, in to help, with our recent exciting news (we're nominated as best online music magazine in the BT Digital Music Awards dontcha know) there is a lot to be getting on with...

However, nothing, not even a bulging inbox, will stop ilikemusic from celebrating great artists - old and new. We are extremely excited to bring you the first artist site-takeover - The Stereo MCs Takeover ilikemusic - the first of many!

Having risen to fame in the 90's, most notably with their critically acclaimed album Connected, but also for their incendiary live shows, remixes and genre defining style of UK Hip Hop beats and Acid House vibes, the Stereo MCs made a triumphant return this year with their current release Double Bubble.

Here at ilikemusic we were impressed (seriously, start with the opening track Get On It, and you'll know where I'm coming from) So....we decided to do something different, as is our style. For one week ilikemusic will be populated with a number of Stereo MCs treats, check the related links and get yourself connected...the writings on the ~~wall~~ screen (Sorry, couldn't resist) Enjoy!
