Double Bubble is released. This album looks forward, not back, and if you don't believe us, check out opening track Get On It, which wastes no time in laying the foundations for the rest of the album. The album features 19 year old Tic Toc. A chance meeting in a local Brixton pub between Rob and Tic-Toc led to a burgeoning friendship and a prolifically creative musical collaboration. As a result, this has informed Double Bubble's fresh and vital approach and given Rob and Nick a whole new perspective to their music.

August - Present 2008
With the live band having fired on all cylinders, a string of high profile festival appearances and a party curated by the boys at the infamous Hoxton Bar & Grill, there has been many a chance for fans to witness their astonishing live show and showcase of new material so far. Fortunately this is not about to stop!
The Stereo MCs are continuing to play live and ilikemusic recommends that you check them out! These boys are passionate about music, and after being in the music business for sometime, we think they are well worth a listen, be it your first time or one of many!

'We feel totally fired up about music at the moment. We really want to just take it as far as we can take it. We've got an energy for it. People say "Oh, you've been doing this a long time" but I think it depends what kind of person you are, how you feel. It's not like we went into the countryside and didn't listen to anything. Music is what we live for. We've still got the same fire that we had when we started.'
