Doing The Right Thing – How To Handle Peer Pressure

Peer pressure gets us into things we wouldn't have got into on our own. UK hip-hop outfit Big Brovaz know a thing about peer pressure. Starting out in 1999, their ride to fame has been littered with ups and downs. Their debut hit 'Nu Flow' went straight to the top of the charts and their album went platinum. The band went on to win two Mobo awards.

The bubble, however, was soon to break for Big Brovaz when Flawless was caught with marijuana in the USA. Suddenly the future of Big Brovaz looked ominous and a spilt with Sony soon followed. It also emerged that J-Rock had a problem with marajunana, and his challenge to quit his addiction was filmed for TV to track his progress. Years later and J-Rock is still enjoying life and writing great music, without any need for weed.

Prior to releasing their 2007 Re-Entry album, J-Rock made a movie with US actress Michelle Phieffer and Randy worked on an exclusive soundtrack for the UK film 'Breaking the Cycle'. They've been hard at work and have learned a great deal along the way.
