Doing The Right Thing – How To Handle Peer Pressure

Be True To Your Self

And therein lies the secret to breaking free of peer pressure and doing what YOU want to do, not just what your friends want you to do. It's about following your heart and being true to your self.

"Everyone has their own internal dream of what they want to do," explains Randy. "But sometimes, when you're with your friends, you can't really express yourself, because they might think you're weak, and they might break your dream. So a lot of kids don't tell their friends what they want to do and just sit in the corner and do what they're told. I think the best thing to do is to follow your dream anyway, because everyone's got one inside."

Another UK hip hop talent, SWAY, agrees that the right route to follow is one that abides by your own individual principles; your own personal dream and goals.
