T in the Park Line Up Announced

REM, The Verve and Rage Against The Machine are set to headline this year's T in the Park Festival in Balado Kinrosshire, Scotland, from 11th-13th July 2008.

Kings of Leon, The Fratellis, Kaiser Chiefs, KT Tunstall, Biffy Clyro, Sergeant and Stereophonics also make up the line-up for the three day festival.

Rage Against The Machine played the very first T in the Park back in 1994 when just 2000 campers attended. This July 60,000 music fans are expected to descend on the festival site with a limited number of campers permitted to pitch tents a day early on 10th July.

40,000'early bird tickets sold out in less than 70 minutes. More tickets go on sale on Saturday 16th February at 9am. BUY TICKETS here

To secure early bird tickets some people even camped outside Groucho's record shop for two nights.

Groucho's proprietor, Alastair Brodie, said,

"We've sold T in the Park tickets over the counter since day one and it was only in the last two or three years it's really gone a bit haywire. Last year there was maybe about 300-400 people in the queue and we did have to point out to a lot of people towards the back there wasn't really any chance of getting tickets."
