As the long, wet summer draws to an end and the days shorten, ilikemusic reflects on the highlights of our festival adventures; before we retreat from the fields and tents to the pubs, clubs and arenas.
In all, ilikemusic.com attended three of the big four UK festivals this year; Glastonbury, O2 Wireless and V Festival. Our team didn't make it to Reading; blame the pressure of work, camping fatigue and trench foot. (Although we did manage to send some roving reporters on our behalf - read the reviews here and here)
So here's our Top 12 Festival Highlights (meeting Juliette Lewis - pictured - not included). In reverse order:
12. The Magic Numbers, Glastonbury
A surprise inclusion perhaps, but, as the sun emerged late in on Friday afternoon, The Magic Numbers winsome neo-hippie rock captured the Glasto vibe perfectly, bringing the entire Pyramid stage crowd to it's feet to dance. Definitely the best natural high available at the festival. Bearded smiles all round.
11. Soho Dolls, O2 Wireless Festival
