Zero 7 - Futures featuring Jose Gonzalez

In demonstrating themselves as masters of the studio arts Zero 7 provide the blueprint for the remixes that follow. Starting where the original leaves off Rub n' Tug's mix opens up with electronica, cuts to Jose in stark acoustic relief, and then makes a beeline for the dancefloor.

Metronomy cast Gonzalez as a wasp in the ear, amid a wildy panning and frenzied mix, and Al Usher takes an altogether darker route from the originals warm electronics; dropping a dub house beat onto some decidedly spikey synths.

"Futures" is out now, released September 11th 2006 and is availble on 12" vinyl, CD and digital download. The digital and CD releases feature the radio edit and the Metronomy Remix, while the 12" features all three remixes.
