Joel Zimmerman / deadmau5

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Canada, Joel has been involved in the music and new media scene since 1998. He first started his career as co-producer of a Niagara Falls radio show "The Party Revolution" (101.1 The Planet). After gaining exposure to all the many facets of electronic music, Joel then moved on to collaborate with many other artists and record labels in many studios throughout the globe. Joel, also known as "deadmau5" has been internationally sought after to participate in a broad spectrum of musical ventures, including developing sampling CD's, compilation albums, remixes, licensing deals, and consulting services for many prominent music software companies.

In the fall of 2004, Joel was contracted by D1 Music to do a remix of a song entitled "Pure" by Orgy which is included in their most current DVD entitled "Trans Global Spectacle". Joel was asked to contribute some of his musical works to a compilation CD, "The Smirnoff Experience" which Smirnoff has distributed along with over 290,000 alcohol products in the fall of 2004. Joel has also been credited on many Canadian, US and International albums and projects where his skills and talents were applied:
