"I'm responsible for maintaining the standard of music performance at its highest level for every show. I also conduct the show. My favourite musical moment is probably the Spider Woman scene. It has a great melody, has been nicely developed by Damon and is beautifully sung by Zheng Li. The biggest challenge of this production has been rehearsing via interpreters. It's taken a while to develop close working relationships with the cast since we cannot converse in the normal way. Before Monkey I worked on numerous projects. In the last year I have played the piano for film shows including Viva La Diva, and conducted West End shows like The Lion King. I also write music for television."
