Beachdown Festival

First confirmed artists announced including De La Soul, Gogol Bordello, Lightspeed Champion and Reverend & The Makers!

The first artists to be confirmed for Beachdown Festival include the internationally renowned De La Soul, New York punk folk rock fusionists Gogol Bordello, one of this year's most hotly tipped artists Lightspeed Champion, social realists and one of the biggest breaking bands of last year Reverend and the Makers and the critically acclaimed Terry Callier.

Other confirmed artists include Roy Ayers, Infadels, The Hat and Freakpower. More main stage, big names will be confirmed in coming weeks but for now we can also confirm the following acts for the Inspirations Stage. First up there's Russ Dewbury who will present the return of the legendary Jazz Bop. There will also be a very special performance from Bah Samba. Other acts include Azymuth, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jah Wobble All-stars and Amp Fiddler.

From Friday 22nd - Monday 25th* over the August Bank Holiday, Beachdown Festival will set up camp on the outskirts of Brighton, sprawling itself across the green, green grass of the South Downs.
