Bestival Line Up Additions
Bestival, Robin Hill Country Park, Isle Of Wight - 5th, 6th & 7th September 2008
Rob da Bank has pulled an array of incredible additions from up his sleeves at the last minute, giving lucky ticket holders a lavish extra helping of party fun on what is set to be a legendary weekend.
Joining an all-star cast on this year's bill will be the synth pop stylings of Mercury Music Prize nominees Neon Neon. A true super-group featuring Super Furry Animals' inimitable front-man Gruff Rhys and über-producer Boom Bip, the pair's debut album Stainless Style, loosely based on the life and times of John De Lorean, channels the majesty of 80s pop into the here and now with effortless aplomb.
Currently basking in the glory of their top ten hit '5 Years Time', Noah And The Whale have long been favourites in the da Bank camp and so it's with great pleasure we can announce that the band will be making an appearance at Bestival with their captivatingly catchy bitter-sweet pop tunes a dead cert to wow the Bestival massive.
One of the top three Brass bands in the world The Fairey Band are 9 times National Champion Band of Great Britain and 16 times British Open Champions and will be providing an aurally lysergic diversion with their acclaimed Acid Brass set of Acid House cover versions that have left jaws agape across the globe, one definitely not to miss!
