ILM: Giving those speakers a nice warm-up for the weekend?
Andres: Exactly! Then on Sunday night, because it is the close, I think it's going to be old school classics. Dionne Warwick - Walk On By, songs that everyone knows, it's going to be very soulful Sunday night.
ILM: Do you do much preparation for your sets?
Andres: They are quite prepared. I have an idea, but for every tune there are five or six other tunes that I can go off with. Obviously it is good to be prepared because you never know what is going to happen. I will have an ideal set in my head and then I'll get there and be ready to change. I think if you're not prepared at all people often get caught out. You might get nervous. Plus there always seems to be someone who comes up and starts bothering you at the decks all day, if you start listening to them you can go off track! So it is good to be prepared! But, you can't be too rigid. You could turn up to an empty marquee or a packed party and you don't know what has happened before you. You need to be ready to drop everything you have planned.
