Floor shaking, ground breaking Dr Meaker bring together Bristols finest musicians into a rip roaring, soulful, live Drum and Bass assault on the senses.

Dr Meaker & his 9 piece band have played at renowned events such as Glastonbury Festival 2007, Bestival and Ashton Court Festival as well as at legendary clubs throughout the world. They also entertain their Bristol homecrowd regularly, gaining a sought-after reputation for getting the crowd bouncing and grinding. Meaker with their ruff-cut bass licks, sublime vocals and sweet rhythms are poised to infect the UK and beyond with their pulsating start-to-finish live set.

Dr Meaker are receiving airplay from the UK's major radio stations including BBC Radio 1 (Zane Lowe, Rob Da bank), BBC1Xtra, Ministry of sound as well as at campus radio stations as far beyond as Canada and New Zealand. Dr Meaker have also just competed and won the Glastonbury Festival 2007 emerging talent comptetition, BBC new urban talent award (Sponsored by Fame Academy), and also the BBC unsigned gods of the pods.

Dr Meaker are one of UK's best up and coming soul / dance acts, with a following that grows larger every day, hungry for the rawness that only Dr Meaker prescribes.
