The Moor Music Festival - 7,8,9th August 2008
The Moor Music Festival is hugely enthusiastic about its non corporate, sponsorship free, independent nature; thinking itself to be an all round more personal experience for both the festival go-er and the performing artists. This is something the founders of the festival aim to protect and they are keen to point out that just because they are relatively small, doesn't mean they don't think big. Their key focus is to develop a high quality event that remains intimate and friendly.
The Moor Music Festival co-founder John Drysdale comments:
"We always want The Moor Music Festival to be a place where people come for the whole experience. The location is second to none; the food and stalls are fantastically varied and use local produce as much as they can; anyone is welcome to come along and relax from young families to seasoned festival fanatics. We have some of the best local, national and international acts for this year, truly showing that size doesn't matter, it's what you do with it that counts!"

Tom Baxter: ilikemusic because... It makes you feel alive more than anything else.
Omid16B: ilikemusic because... It makes me feel whole and makes me feel like I have my feet on the ground. It makes me feel love again and reminds me of what we are. It allows me to express myself.
Peter Cincotti: ilikemusic because... Of what the world would be without it. It’d be a very scary place. I think we’d all be screwed.
Demi: ilikemusic because... Girl's love music.
Cesar Sangwa: ilikemusic because... it's there for me through thick and thin, highs and lows. I think about it when I wake up, and when I close my eyes to sleep. I like music because I'm in love with it!
Ryan, OneRepublic: ilikemusic because... It is the soundtrack to my life every day.
Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.
