ilikemusic at The Jazz World stage Glastonbury
The Jazz World stage has been through many incarnations, but has now firmly established itself as part of the Festival. It started life as the first extra music stage after the Pyramid and was called Stage Two. The programme has evolved over the years and the stage now hosts a generous helping of Jazz and a wide range of World music, and touches bass with many types of funky fusion in between. So many internationally renowned acts have played here including Toots and the Maytals, Jamie Cullen, Lucky Dube, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse, Bonnie Raitt, Roy Ayers, Manu Chao, Faithless, Jazz Jamaica, Morcheeba, Reprazent, Dr John, Herbie Hancock, Abdulla Ibrahim, Courtney Pine, Burning Spear,Baaba Maal, Guillemots, Damian Marley, Rodrigo y Gabriela and John Fogarty, and so many more.

Taio Cruz: ilikemusic because... It’s my life and it’s the air that I breathe. It calms me when I’m feeling uptight and it’s there for me when I want to party if I want to listen to something up tempo, it’s just amazing in any situation. That’s why I like music!
Mutya Buena: ilikemusic because... It’s something I’ve grown up listening to, I enjoy singing I don’t think I know what I’d do without music to tell you the truth. It helps me out in so many ways.
Kano: ilikemusic because... It brings people together. It makes people smile and dance, it makes people happy. I like the energy it gives off.
Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!
Kat Vipers: ilikemusic because... There's not many other things to like.
